Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

Burbank is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Burbank follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I stopped by while getting a car wash nearby and decided to grab a snack and coffee. I asked what they were known for and was offered a sample of their tea cake, which was delicious and paired perfectly with the coffee. A lovely little find with friendly service and great treats.

The Mexican wedding cookies with pecan are to die for. Everytime I go there if\n2 or 3 people are at the table.I offer some of mine just so they can try them. And everyone says you're right , they are delicious. If you buy just one cookie I guarantee you will most likely end up buying more.so light and airy with plenty of powder suga. Omg fantastic. I've never had a better cookie and I hope you feel the same. Enjoy πŸ˜‰

Ordered a simple birthday cake: chocolate frosting with yellow cake. Delicious! Quite pricey for what you get but prices for basically everything are up up up so I'm not that surprised. I'm just glad the cake was moist and tasty. Nice thick "frosty" icing (I hate an airy frosting).

I was getting a car wash down the alley and wanted a snack + coffee. I asked what they known for and I got a sample of their tea cake. Great with coffee. The banana muffin and eclair were tasty too. πŸ°β˜•οΈπŸ«–πŸ˜‹

Martino's is one of my favorite bakeries. We have been getting baked goods here for longer than I have been alive. They have a private parking lot for the bakery, and both indoor/outdoor seating. We were greeted as soon as we entered and asked if we needed a moment to decide on what we would be ordering. Moving away from the SFV, Martino's Tea Cakes are one thing I miss most. My brother brought me a dozen when he drove up to visit me last year but I sure miss the convenience of living just down the road. Over the years they have made countless birthday cakes for our family. However its their famous Tea Cakes that have our hearts. They are delicious, perfectly moist and full of flavor. We ordered a dozen regular teacakes, 4 coffee cake tea cakes, 2 churro cupcakes, 1 birthday cake cupcake, a walnut brownie, an eclair, and a half dozen cinnamon sugar mini butter cookies. All of which were delicious. I forgot how incredible their butter cookies are. I was a bit disappointed in the cupcakes as the cake was dryer than usual but the flavor of the churro cupcake was amazing. I brought the coffee cake tea cakes home to my grandma and she was in heaven, she has been a regular at Martino's s
